Welcome to Liberty Oaks

We're so excited to have you here!

We are pleased to provide you with a map of our property, beautifully created by Madelyn Kaeberlein, daughter of Stephanie and Chris. Please refer to this map to help you navigate and enjoy your event at Liberty Oaks.

Please enter the property and park in front of the farmhouse. The driveway makes a large circle in front of the house, and the gravel is currently hard to see because of the weeds! But you’re welcome to park anywhere on the driveway itself or in the grassy area (left side, just before circle, marked with a sign).

The Porch

Porches have always been a wonderful spot to come together, share stories, and build community.
Feel free to use the porch to open your event, meet with your group, and conclude your day with a debriefing session. We hope you find this space as inspiring and relaxing as we do.

Respect the Property

  • Please be mindful of the historic farmhouse and its surroundings.
  • Avoid entering the farmhouse.

Please use the Porta Potty on the premises.

Use of Tools and Equipment

  • Only use tools and equipment you are familiar with and that have been designated for your event’s use.
  • If you are unsure about how to operate any equipment, please ask for assistance before using it.
  • Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to the event coordinator immediately.

Safety First

  • Wear appropriate clothing and protective gear (gloves, hats, sunscreen).
  • Stay hydrated and take breaks as needed.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and watch out for uneven ground, rocks, and other potential hazards. This includes poison ivy, poison oak, snakes, etc.
  • First Aid Kit: Located on the front porch near the main entrance.
  • Please keep your personal items with you or store them securely in your vehicle.

Areas to Avoid

  • Do not enter any marked-off areas or restricted zones.
  • Avoid any areas that are under construction or renovation.
  • Neighboring farmers use our land to plant crops seasonally. Please avoid these planted areas and disrupting their work.
  • The pond is off limits; swimming and fishing is prohibited.

Waste and Recycling

  • Dispose of any waste in the designated trash bins.

Hi, I'm Stephanie Kaeberlein, and I am so happy to have you here.

On May 18, 2022, my world changed forever when my husband, Chris, took his own life. His suicide, a day before our 21st wedding anniversary and three weeks before our son’s high school graduation, left me facing profound loss and the daunting task of rebuilding my life and those of my two teenage children.

My Mission...

Through grief, I learned valuable lessons in self-care, perspective, and the power of giving. Chris’s death inspired me to honor him and help others. In 2023, I opened our property, Liberty Oaks, as a 20-acre sanctuary for experiential growth, insightful learning, and holistic healing.

Liberty Oaks is a tribute to Chris and a community space for sharing stories and exploring new perspectives. Our mission is to harness personal strengths to positively impact our lives and workplaces. We offer curated classes, workshops, and events led by professionals in mental and holistic wellness, supporting our community on their journey to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
